What is the Quest for the Sword of Thorns?
An inter-sim roleplay which takes players to stores they might like, clubs they'll have fun at, realms they'll explore, and presents clear opportunities to roleplay with others. It is an event to search for a lost treasure, and to find many other treasures along the way! Most of all, it's a fun way for new roleplayers to get involved, and for veteran roleplayers to show-off.

The hunter group will be divided into 4: General, Good Alignment, Neutral Alignment, & Evil Alignment. You may opt to make gifts for as many of the divisions as you like (meaning that if you made a gift for each division and had the hunt sign, a total of 6 prims would be used). Please place a texture picture of your gift next to the division(s) you wish to be part of.

Fantasy Roleplay Sim Owner Application:
Here is a chance to attract new players to your sim! The hunt sign will be 2 prims. Each hunt item will be 1 prim. One General hunt item must be hidden in your welcome area (or main entrance point).
We ask that fantasy sims place additional hunt items based on the type of sim you have. If you only have a Good Alignment or only Evil Alignment sim, then you need to use only 4 prims total to partake. If your sim has various areas- an Evil section, a Good section, and a Neutral section; then we ask you to accept 6 prims.
This hunt is like 4 hunts in 1. General hunters will simply be looking to find an item and move on. Alignment hunters will be more willing to play and explore. We ask you to notify your citizens of these persons, and to encourage them to interact with and engage them. Citizens should not, however, simply show hunters where things are.
Can your Evil Alignment citizens try to mess with the Good Alignment hunters? YES! Hunters are encouraged to group together for that very reason. We do not want people who just jump from store to store grabbing freebies and never giving things a second thought... we want a competition! There are big prizes at stake for those who finish first, so don't make it easy.
The prizes/ gifts inside your hunt items will be donated by store owners.

High-Level Roleplayers:
Have you been roleplaying in SL since the day Aaron created Spellfire? Have you won tournaments? Are you a leader in a fantasy roleplay group? Do bards sing your legend?
WE NEED YOU! We are looking for a few elite players to be part of the hunt. Players will be teleported to "online now" indicators at various stages of the hunt, and have to choose someone to meet. You will have their prize, and they will need to go through you to get to the next stage of the hunt!!! You might force them to spar, challenge them to an archery contest, take them on a tour, or make them answer a riddle... however you play your character best. The aim is to inspire roleplay, to educate and enlighten new players, and to have some fun.
Those who partake will need to report the week of March 8, 2010 with a square full-perm texture of yourself to be placed on the Online indicator, and to pick-up the hunt item which you will be charged with giving out. (I can make a texture for you at the cost of 50L.)

This is not just another hunt! Yes, you will be going from shop to shop looking for an envelope which will have your prize and send you onward. But then, suddenly, it will send you instead to find a person who will engage you in roleplay, putting you to a test before allowing you to move on. There will be riddles, tours of sims, and spars! Those who complete this hunt will not only have an inventory packed with goodies, but will have made new friends and discovered new places along the way. New to medieval roleplay? Then this is THE place for you! Training is something many of our Riddle Keepers love to do.
